As the season end gets closer, Blueharts had a good weekend with all teams in action and eight teams claiming a full three points from their games.  The Ladies' 5s were confirmed champions of Division 5A in their first season and are promoted for next year's campaign.  With a 6-0 win, the Ladies' 3s look set to join them in celebration as they remain at the top of Division 2, but only by two points.  They need a win next week to be the champions and who would bet against them?!

The Men's 7s have turned around a poor streak and dispatched Shefford & Sandy for three without reply.  They sit in third spot in Division 9SW, but have a couple of games in hand.  Promotion might be within their grasp, but the complicated "percentage of points" system used in their table means everyone will have to wait for the final reckoning by the league.

The Men's 5s posted a good 5-1 win this week and should remain "high mid-table" in Division 6SW by the end of the season.  The Men's first XI beat bottom of the table West Herts to consolidate their position at ninth in Premier B, but really need a home win against fifth-placed Peterborough next week to be sure of staying in this division next year.  Let's get along and support them at 1.30pm.

The Men's 2s claimed 3 points against I-ES and hold seventh spot in Division 2S.  The Men's 4s also won against St. Albans and are now eighth in Division 4SW, but with a game in hand could still move up the table by the end of the season.

The Ladies' 1s travelled all the way to Maidstone, but came home empty-handed despite scoring three goals.  They are now fifth in Division 1S.  The Ladies' 2s were in action against West Herts and earned three points to see them into ninth place in the Premier Division of the 5 Counties Women's Hockey League. A 2-2 draw against Letchworth gives the Ladies' 4s a sixth spot in Division 3, where they expect to be playing their hockey again next year.

Struggling towards the bottom of the table are the Men's 6s, who failed to beat Bedford Vets this week, so they are one off the bottom in Division 7SW.  However, they play the bottom side next week and hope to secure three points, which could move them up a place.  Finally, the Men's 3s know they will end up at the foot of Division 3SW this year.
