New season off to a good start

Weekly Results

Any signs of summer fatigue were not in evidence as the Blueharts sides took up stick and ball for the new season.  The best results of the day came from the Ladies' first team and the Men's 3s, who both secured 3-0 victories.  The ladies beat local rivals Stevenage at home, while the men visited St Albans.

The Men's 2s were 2-0 winners at home to Cambridge South and the Ladies' 2s went to Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead for the same result.  The Ladies' 4s won a goal-fest at Broxbourne with a 4-3 victory and the Men's 6s hosted MBDA for a 3-2 win in the dying seconds of the match.

Draws for the Men's first team at Chelmsford (1-1) and the Men's 4s at home against Broxbourne (2-2) saw single points secured, but there were no points for the Ladies' 3s and Men's 5s, who lost 1-4 and 1-5 respectively against Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead teams.
